Krav Maga Global is an integrated system of self-defense, fighting skills, and protection of others. Technically and tactically, we train how to prevent, avoid, de-escalate or deal with violent confrontations according to the law of the country.
Krav Maga (in Hebrew) means close combat.
It is the self-defense and combat system used by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), the Israeli police, and security services, as well as numerous law enforcement agencies worldwide.
It is also taught in institutions governed by the Israeli Ministry of Education and has been taught to civilians around the world as well.
Developed and refined over years of conflict, Krav Maga perfects the ease of learning techniques that have been tested in real-life threatening situations.
Because Krav Maga is based on human reflexes, it is easier to learn and is not limited to athletes.
Students learn to defend themselves in different situations so that they can avoid injuries and quickly defend against an aggressor.
Krav Maga defenses include various methods of attack, such as elbow or knee strikes, kicks, chokes, etc., as well as defenses against multiple attackers, armed or unarmed.
Once the student has learned the basic principles of Krav Maga, he/she is able to adapt to any situation. It becomes like second nature and becomes part of their daily life.
Students will be able to apply the principles and techniques of Krav Maga even in unknown or undesirable circumstances, such as dark environments, sitting or lying positions, under stress, or during extreme fatigue.
You will also be taught how to use your environment to your advantage.
Furthermore, its specialized training methods not only physically encourage students but also instill mental discipline that strengthens and develops the ability to handle violent confrontations in highly stressful situations.
Krav Maga is not a martial art based on traditional concepts.
It is a modern method characterized by logic and accumulates simple, natural, and practical techniques through the body's simple automatisms.
Krav Maga has no rules and limits.
Therefore, there are no Krav Maga competitions as it is designed to be a realistic combat system.
